2009 Flight Ticket Price

We operate a Flight Ticket system. Your Flight Ticket is your boarding card. Tickets for all flights must be purchased in advance, and you must take your Flight Ticket to manifest before you kit up to jump (no exceptions). 

A block of x 20 Experienced Flight Tickets is available to Members Only at £340 =

£17 a Flight Ticket

A block of x 10 Intermediate Experienced Flight Tickets is also available at £280

Flight Only Tickets for the purposes of transport of parachutists to altitude to skydive from our aircraft are Zero Rated for Vat. Vat Reg No. 926 9610 00. Our standard terms and conditions apply to all flight ticket sales, so please ensure that you have read them before purchasing Flight Only Tickets. 
Flight Only Tickets are unique to the buyer, and the buyers name must be written on the ticket at the time of purchase. 
Tickets are good for twelve months form the date of purchase and are then void. 
They are not transferable and must be used by the buyer only.  
Fees paid to Skydive Airkix are non-refundable under any circumstances. ‘Skydive Airkix’ is the trading name of Airkix Skydiving Limited Registered in England and Wales Company No. 6297867.

MEMBERSHIP

Standard Membership of Skydive Airkix is £25 for 2009, £20 for renewing 2008 Members. Membership allows skydivers the opportunity to buy discounted Flight Tickets, and is a requirement for use of the members only bar facility in the evening. Members may bring and sign in guests.

Skydive Airkix also offer an enhanced membership, and for an extra £85 you will get ten minutes at the Airkix Tunnel in Milton Keynes, as well as some valuable tunnel offers that will be announced during the course of the year. That flight time to be flown on or before 31^st December 2009 or lost.

CARBON OFFSET

When you purchase your Flight Tickets you will be offered the opportunity to add £2 to each ticket in accordance with our Carbon Offset programme. At the end of the year we will offer Members the choice of three or four established offset programmes, and the membership will choose which one to donate the accumulated fund to. Skydive Airkix is not charging any administration fees to this programme and as a charity donation; it is not subject to Vat.

MAX ALTITUDE

Is 12,000ft+, and we aim for 13,000ft. However 10,000ft or over will be considered to be ‘max’ where operational constraints prevent higher exits. i.e. no credit will be given if exit altitude is 10,000ft or over. If we fall short of 10,000ft we credit back £1 per 1,000ft under 10,000ft – e.g. £1 for 9,000ft, £2 for 8,000ft down to £3 for 7,000ft.

LOW CLOUD DAYS

On days when we can only fly to a low cloud base (e.g. 3,500ft), we’ll do a special offer Flight Ticket.

KIT HIRE

Experienced skydivers who need to hire kit from Skydive Airkix can do so for £10 per jump. Payment for hire is due at the time you purchase your Flight Tickets, so that we can note that you will be using our equipment and not your own. You must bring the kit back to us packed, and we remind you that you need a Packing Certificate endorsed with the equipment type being packed in order to pack parachutes unaided. If you don’t have one, you will need to get a qualified packer to supervise you or to pack the kit, however we would be pleased to enrol you on a packing course, and teach you to pack. Vat is included in the kit hire fee at the Standard Rate.

INCENTIVES

Members can earn one Experienced Max Altitude Flight for each full price Tandem or AFF Student that you book into Skydive Airkix. The office will need to know which are ‘yours’ when they book – i.e. in advance. Not available in association with any other Student discount offer.
